Soundwave and Blaster take a small sliver of comfort from each other.

Blaster: *leans on 'Wave, grinning* So I hear you're causing trouble again?

Soundwave: *monotone* Really? Examples?

Blaster: *shrugs and grins* I heard a little somethin' somethin' about you not shutting up when I'm around?

Soundwave: *stiffens* Illogical. I talk when needed to.

Blaster: Relax man. It's cool. *nuzzles the side of 'Waves still masked face* I like it when you talk. Your voice gives me chills.

Soundwave: *slightly relaxed but freezes up again* ... Chills?

Blaster: Man you're touchy today...*slaps him lightly on the shoulder and grins back* Yeah, chills. The good kind.

Soundwave: This period of time has not been good.

Blaster: *tilts head* What's up?

Soundwave: *leans into the other mech, choosing his words carefully* Base. Completely illogical.

Blaster: *smirks a little* You're 'cons. I coulda told you that much. *slings arms around 'Wave from behind* Things comin' down on ya hard, huh?

Soundwave: *almost growls a little, tone just a bit darker* Starscream. He is a major problem. No one is loyal to my Lord anymore.

Blaster: *raises an optic ridge* He's actually won 'em all over?

Soundwave: The combaticons... *shakes head slightly*

Blaster: He's actually got Onslaught's crew on his side now? *sounds disbelieveing, leaning over 'Wave's shoulder more to look him in the face* You're the only old school cat left there anymore, huh?

Soundwave: *lets a soft sigh out* Indeed. Onslaught has decided to follow Starscream. But Vortex... He is truly devoted.

Blaster: *straights up quietly, plunking himself down next to Soundwave and leaning into the blue mech* That's...kinda scary.

Soundwave: Especially since he's one of the few Decepticons that should be feared by most. *leans back* I do not like it there.

Blaster: I can understand that man. I mean, you're the only one still loyal to Megs. You're kinda outnumbered and I know how you guys treat the ones who stick out...*leans head against 'Waves, voice sounding just a little bit worried*

Soundwave: *touches the Blaster's shoulder lightly* Do not worry. I will be safe there. *tries to hide his own uncertainty about the situation*

Blaster: Hn. *smirks a little bit* You sure about that man? I mean, you're a hard case and all, but the whole crew versus you? Less you can lay 'em all low with some of those mind tricks of yours...*reaches up to tap 'Wave's helm lightly*

Soundwave: *stiffens slightly again* They are no match for me. *quieter* It is my cassetticons whom I worry for.

Blaster: Relax man, I'm partly teasing. *nudges the big blue frame with his own* Everybody's got a weakness man. You just gotta cover it better. Upgrade 'em some? Keep 'em closer to you? Put heavy locks and booby traps on your quarters. *takes hold of one of 'Wave's hands, threading their fingers together and squeezing gently* You could always leave...

Soundwave: *the last option lingering in his CPU for longer than he wanted to admit* I cannot upgrade them anymore. Their CPU cannot handle any more programming, especially with their small frame. I do not want to see them hurt. *squeezes the hand held a little*

Blaster: *sighs a little heavily, stroking his lover's hand with his thumb* Then all I can tell ya man is keep an optic trained on 'em, and close to you. *looks over at 'Wave, face totally serious* The last option's always a possibility. You're good at hiding out man. *the last said with a grin*

Soundwave: *another soft sound escaping his vocaliser* And go where? I cannot stay hidden forever. *pauses* And I will be branded a traitor to the cause.

Blaster: *sighs again, sounding a little defeated this time* I don't know man. *reaches up with his free hand to remove the other's visor and look him in the optics* I just don't want anything to happen to you. Your crew's full of nasty characters man...I just...*takes off the mask as well, kissing the other mech hard*

Soundwave: *kisses back, just as hard before breaking away and burying his face in Blaster's shoulder* I understand. I do not want anything to happen to you either. Decepticons are 'nasty'.. But I have lived for long with them. I understand them as much as anyone will.

Blaster: *puts his arm around Soundwave's shoulders and holding him and stroking fingers lightly over the other's frame* There's not a whole lot to not understand man. A bunch of big mechs with too much combat programming and not enough sense, so they gotta go tromping over everyone else to get their kicks. *sighs* But man...seriously...just, haven't we already broken a lot of old trends? *his grin at that audible in his voice*

Soundwave: *small smile touching his mouth* Indeed. *kisses Blaster gently, holding on* Breaking them seems to have caused more... difficulties. *turns his thoughts back to the Decepticons* They have no tried anything so far.

Blaster: *returns the kiss, grinning a little into it* True that, man. Change ain't ever easy. *sighs again* Then just take some precautions. Set up some tougher locks and some small traps or something. Just in case they do. *shrugs his large shoulders before grinning at the blue mech and tracing a finger over lip components with a smile* I got a trend that I want to keep up though...

Soundwave: They do not dare to enter my quarters. *slightly smug* I already have many traps set up. Attuned to my cassettes and me only. *presses a quick kiss to the finger* Really? *low hum*

Blaster: *grins back, teasing* Helps to be a big scary mech huh? And yeah...it went a little somethin' like this...*leans in, still wearing his grin, to kiss the other mech*

Soundwave: *slight smile in response* Interesting... *hands slip over Blaster's back, running down side panels* Anything more?

Blaster: That's just the start man. *curls his free hand around the back of 'Wave's neck, pulling him closer for another kiss while letting go of the hand he was holding to slide it over the dark blue chest armor*

Soundwave: *shudders, having stopped bothering to hide his physical reactions, knowing that they both gained more pleasure that way* Just the start? *he's still able to produce a challenging look, directed into blue optics, his own fingers teasing sensors*

Blaster: *grins and shivers a little under the touch, more than pleased at getting an open reaction from Soundwave* Oh yeah, 'Wave. You know me better than that by now. It's always gotta be more. *wraps lip components around neck hydraulics, glossa licking over them while his hands slide around the blue mech's sides to caress armor joints and sensors*

Soundwave: *his smirk going unnoticed but he was sure his shivering frame wasn't* I do know you well. *pulls Blaster up into a kiss, dropping a smug feeling into the other's CPU*

Blaster: *makes a soft sound into the kiss, the sound itself tinged with laughter over that smug feeling which was returned with amused curiosity as his hands roamed freely over that shivering frame, reveling in its vibrations and looking to increase them by increasing the pressure he was applying to those sensitive areas*

Soundwave: *feels almost at peace being with Blaster, his hands sliding down, almost teasingly, across more sensors, gently tweaking various wires along the path*

Blaster: *shivers lightly, arcing into the teasing hands, his own hands returning all of the light, playful caresses* I like this mood a lot better man...*smiles and traces the tip of his glossa over the other mech's lip components*

Soundwave: It is much more pleasant. *holds the other mech tighter against him, trailing kisses softly down one side of the neck hydraulics*

Blaster: *tilts head back with a smile, his hands tracing down over hip joints and leg armoring, almost like he was memorizing the other's form* Hell yeah it is. *voice sounding like a pleasant sigh*

Soundwave: *returns the favor by gently rubbing small circles against Blaster's back with one hand and holding the other mech tightly with the other* I... *continues it by gently touching Blaster's mind "am happy." The question after it was unsaid but audible*

Blaster: For some reason, I never thought you'd be so shy. *leans his silver forehead guard against Soundwave's blue helm, grinning into the other's optics just letting feel that he echoed the happy sentiment completely*

Soundwave: *looks away briefly, trying to hide slight embarrassement* Not shy. Merely... unused to the way to showing affection. *his pleasure almost tangible from the response that the other mech gave*

Blaster: *grins impishly, reaching out to turn the other mech's face back to him* Yuh-huh. Not shy at all, which is why you gotta look away huh? *optics twinkling with mirth before stealing another kiss and projecting all of his amused affection for the other mech at him*

Soundwave: *the tiniest hint of a smile as he leans into the kiss, returning it softly* Not shy. There was... something else more interesting... *his excuse sounds lame to his own audio receptors and he winces, hoping that Blaster would let him go easy, trying to ignore the amusent*

Blaster: *gives Soundwave a very amused look, chuckling softly* Okay yeah. Interesting. *snickering softly as he kisses the other mech again, sliding one hand up under back plating to stroke over wiring, tweaking it gently*

Soundwave: *refuses to meet blue optics, instead just petting the red plating and leaning into the kisses*

Blaster: *just chuckles quietly behind the kiss, affection fairly overflowing from him as he started to purr contentedly beneath the touches*

Weapon Specs

Shoulder-mounted radio wave sensor to intercept and block any frequency of transmission
Wave sensor can be reprogrammed to become a canon in a miniscule period of time
Has electro-magnetic field surrounding him during battles, acting similar to a weak shield, warding off most light fire and shrapnel
Heavy armor piercing machine gun/rifle in left hand
When the left hand gun is deactivated, it becomes a port for the detachable shoulder canon
Combined, they turn into an Ion missile launcher.
However, the missile launcher disables all other weapons systems whilst in use and heavily drains energy. It is for emergency use only, when Soundwave has been pushed to the limit.
Also has a concussion blaster stored somewhere, but hasn’t seen use as yet.

NOTES;

Soundwave is currently the most senior Decepticon on Earth. He is completely loyal to Megatron only and awaits the day when Megatron will rise up again.

In the meantime, Soundwave manipulates Starscream who currently thinks that he’s the ‘Leader’.

He watches out for all and any of his Cassetticons and doesn’t like Frenzy’s partner, Barricade, much. However, Soundwave respects his ‘Cons’ choice and will not argue unless one wants to pair up with Starscream.

Soundwave dislikes Starscream because of his constant betrayal of Megatron.

Ravage and Laserbeak are the only two Cassetticons who refuse to leave his side unless ordered to.

Soundwave, because of his ability to read other mechs’ minds, is able to shield his own mind so tightly with electro-magnetic waves, which are impossible, even under torture, to get through unless he lets down his guard voluntarily.

Although Soundwave can read minds at will, any mech can raise a casual defense shield around their thoughts to prevent a casual skim from the Decepticon officer. However, if Soundwave is determined to read something, no one can withstand a mind to mind attack from him.

Other mechs, especially those with strong thoughts, can send them to Soundwave. Proximity increases the strength and clarity of these sent thoughts. A mech who is in direct contact with Soundwave may be able to talk to him telepathically.

Although completely loyal to the Decepticon cause, Soundwave has a secret yearning to be back in a laboratory, not in the middle of a war.

Uses two independently targetable laser cannons with extreme precision to get information from captives. Shortage of ruby crystals that powers the lasers can panic his systems into shutting down.

Blaster: *knocks on the helm with a grin*

Soundwave: ... Ow...

Blaster: XD Primus but you ARE dense

Soundwave: ... What are you doing?

Blaster: *knocks on helm again, with a "duh" expression on his face* Teasing you, genius.

Soundwave: Genius: Not applicable. Teasing: ... Uh.

Blaster: *lolz* Dude, man...you crack me up. One of these days I am seriously going to code you a sense of humor. Not a big one, just enough so that you can actually GET the joke XD

Soundwave: I have already told you: Sense of humor: Not required. Jokes: Not amusing.

Blaster: It don't matter if it's recquired or not! *waves hands around in exasperation* It's just one of those little things that's fun to have around, and makes life a bit easier. Don't tell me you need to learn how to have fun, too?

Blaster: Or were you the sparkling that always got picked on?

Soundwave: Past life: Irrelevant. Fun: Not applicable.

Blaster: *grins a little bit* I'll let that one go, for now. ^_~ Fun is always applicable man! Life is what you make it! When was the last time you laughed at something just because it was funny? Not like your evil, gloating laugh when you're torturin' somebody

Blaster: 'Course not. *grins and waggles fingers at 'Wave's buttons*

Soundwave: *steps back before he can help himself* Definitely not.

Blaster: *the grin turns just a little bit evil, advancing on the big blue mech* Then tell me why you don't want me to touch you.

Blaster: and none of this "because it's irrelevant' business because that's a bunch of scrap and we both know it.

Soundwave: ... But it is irrelevant.

Blaster: No, it's not. *sounding a bit serious now*

Soundwave: ...

Blaster: Now answer me, mech. Why don't you want me to do this? *grazes a fingertip lightly around the large PLAY button*

Soundwave: *shudders* You are an Autobot.

Blaster: Yeah, and you're a 'Con. *shrugs* I've done my damndest to try and not let my designation change me. I hate this war. In the end, it's pointless, but right now it's gotta get slogged through. Doesn't mean I'll let it change me. *growls slightly* What if I wasn't an Autobot and you weren't a 'Con, what would your excuse be then, 'Wave? *strokes the button again, pressing lightly*

Soundwave: Pointless? This war which we have been fighting for so long?

Soundwave: *bites back a small whimper* Excuse for what?

Blaster: Yeah. This way that we've been fighting for so long. Megatron is dead. Cybertron is gone. What have we got left? Seriously? *Sighs heavily, but gets his grin back at the little noise* Your excuse for backing away every time I try to touch you, even though you shiver when I do it.

Soundwave: Lord Megatron will rise again, be in no doubt of that. *pauses as he tries to think of what they could be fighting for*

Soundwave: I do not need excuses... I am merely uncomfortable.

Blaster: *files that away for future reference, but continues on* See what I mean, even YOU have to put serious thought into what we're still fighting for. *turns glinting optics on the 'Con* Bunch of new sensations to check out, or has it been that long? *leans into the blue mech, nimble fingers stroking up window case seams*

Soundwave: ... I will agree that there appears to be nothing left to fight over, but Autobots and Decepticons will still be at each others' throats. If only because of the way we have become programmed. *stares back* That is none of your concern *but almost lets out a moan at the other mech's ministrations*

Blaster: See, that's what I'm talkin' about. There's no point to it. We're all mechs. We were all made by Primus. Why are we fighting each other? We should be lovin' each other man! *drops the altruistic speech in favor of more immediate interests, smiling devilishly at the struggling mech* I'm making it my concern 'Wave...*runs both hands, flat palmed, up the front case, fingers twitching over the EJECT button on his shoulder*

Soundwave: But the war has been going on so long. Both of us know that even if it stopped, the animosity between our two factions will still stay. *refuses to comment about the 'lovin' each other man' bit* Stop it. *tries not to move from the 'stroking' but can't suppress shudders*

Blaster: Yeah, there's a lotta stubborn mechs on both sides. *shrugs and continues to toy with Soundwave's buttons and frame, acting like it's an afterthought to their conversation* But it's gotta start somewhere, right? I'm not asking you to agree with me, just speakin' my piece. *scowls slightly and slides fingers firmly up along the power supply to 'Wave's neck rotors* Why should I stop? You like it, I enjoy doing this, and you're not really doin' much more than makin' some half-sparked protests about it!

Soundwave: Stubborn doesn't begin to cover it at times. *tries to maintain his cool, detached persona* Why do you insist on doing this to me? What have I ever done to you? *shivers but refuses to yield a step*

Blaster: *watches the mech struggle, still wearing that cocky little smirk of his, resting his fingers on the cord for a moment and gives a shrug* You intrigue me, and you give good reaction. *grins flirtatiously again*

Soundwave: *struggles a little to put a bit of force behind his words* I am not an amusing past time for you. *uses all of his will not to lean into the touch a little* I will not be used like this.

Blaster: You are an amusing past time, but I treatin' you like no toy 'Wave. If you really wanted me to stop, I would. *flashes that wicked grin again* I ain't doin nothing you ain't lettin' me~ *practically purrs that out, sliding his fingers up to the coupler and massaging it lightly*

*adds "ain't" in there*

Blaster: If you really want the lowdown dude, you hack my signal. That's no mean feat. So I wanna pick your processor. You just happen to be fun to tease at the same time.

Soundwave: *shudders and gives in to the impulse to lean into the touch, just the tiniest bit* Hacking: Won't be required. Autobots are notoriously 'noble' and 'honorbound'. *pauses and ponders* 'Pick your processor'.... Explain?

Blaster: *makes a triumphant little noise, increasing the pressure just a bit* Yeah, they are, but we're also willing to do what needs to be done. Just cuz you're a decent mech doesn't mean you'll give up your secrets without a fight. *chuckles lowly, genuinely amused by Soundwave's density* It's that whole "get to know you" bit. I told you already: I wanna know how you tick, and 'Con or not, you amuse the hell outta me already.

Soundwave: *picks up on the errant thought* I am not dense. And again, I'll concurr with you, no decent mech would give up personal secrets so easily. *thinks a bit more* We already know each other. I do not compute why you want to do so any further. Also, I am not here for your amusement purpose.

Blaster: *laughs lowly, a little embarrassed at getting caught out* Yeah, you are. But it's cute, so I'll forgive you. I mean, get to know you more. It's sorta like the same desire to see what's behind that mask of yours...*moves one hand to stroke along the bottom edge of the silver facemask*

Soundwave: Cute... Forgive me... *processors whirls confusedly* Stop it. No one takes off my mask. *turns his face the opposite way*

Blaster: *curls fingers around 'Wave's jaw, turning his face back to stare him in the optics, looking hard to see past the mirror finished visor* I'm not gonna take it off, unless you want me to. You don't have to apologize for bein' cute!! *laughs loudly, highly amused and lets the blue mech go for a moment*

Soundwave: *more confused than ever, stares back* I will never be able to process Autobot actions. *takes the chance to regain his composure* Are you sure you're functioning at full capacity?

Blaster: *gives the blue mech a slightly sad little smirk* I wouldn't expect you to. You're a 'Con and you guys can't trust each other further than you can throw each other. *lets the mech's jaw go with a lingering touch*

Soundwave: *feels a bit deprived for some reason and watches the other mech carefully* We were programmed to be that way. Can you not say the same? That there are programs that make you act in a particular way?

Blaster: Sure I can, because that's what Primus gave to us. We all have noblitiy sub-routines, humor, anger, hate, deceit, but I think we were also given enough open ended programming to choose on our own which programs we use. I mean, you weren't always a 'Con, were you? You had to have done something else once, before all this mess got started.

Blaster: Here we go! Megatron is a perfect example of what I'm talkin' about. *is getting into the discussion* He used to be a protector. He used to be fair, just, and honorable, right? But then he made contact with the Allspark and he got greedy. He got so consumed with that greed that he was willing to destroy everything else to get what he wanted. He changed.

Soundwave: Lord Megatron wanted his share of power. The Autobots had taken away his power when they thought he was being too harsh. Thus landed our two factions in this war.

Soundwave: Decepticons have the right to choose their programming too. It's just that we tend to favor more battle applicable and useful programs.

Blaster: Yeah, but what he was gonna do with that power is what we're all trying to stop. I don't know about you, but I personally don't want to have to live in fear every day of the rest of my life that if I step out of line and do something "Lord Megatron" doesn't approve of I'm gonna get tossed in the Pits! That's no way to live man! I'm too in love with my freedom to give it up without a helluva fight. *shrugs again* I know you do. That just ties in with everything I've been saying: we can all choose who and what we wanna be. Destiny is a stone bitch, but you still have the choice to accept it or fight it.

Soundwave: Destiny is something that can be harnesses and used to further one's ambitions. Lord Megatron wanted to rule, same as any other ambitious mech. Optimus Prime, does he not want to rule? Our Lord is fair and rewards those who stand by him loyally, as I do. Freedom can only get you so far and fighting is never really the key to anything. Our programming is more the result of all these millennia of fighting with the Autobots.

Blaster: *nods along with the other mech's words* True that. Your destiny is in the end, what you make of it. If you accept it you'll be standing on top of the world, if not you'll be a miserable mech and end up burnt out before your time. See, that's the main diff between Megs and Prime. Megs wants to own everyone and everything like a spoiled sparkling. Prime, from everything I've noticed, only wants to "rule over" his own small pack of sparklings and his femme, Elita. He takes this war hard, man. We don't need rewards, cuz as trite as it sounds, the reward lies in seeing everyone happy and being able to live the lives they choose for themselves.*smiles wide at Soundwave, pleasantly surprised to hear a similar sentiment coming out of the mech* Fighting never solves anything at all. Just makes things worse in the end. *gestures around him at the unfamiliar organic environment* And on that last, I agree with you completely man.

Soundwave: Fighting... It's a waste of perfectly good resources when research can be done. *remembers his time back in a lab* But that's where our differences lie, Decepticons will manipulate their destiny, while Autobots are more willing than not to take things the way they fall. In that, Autobots are weaker. Lord Megatron used to be respected by Autobots and Decepticons alike, he used to be considered one of the greatest leaders of all time and one of the fairest as well. But now, only a handful of Decepticons are entirely loyal to him. The reason we are loyal is because we believe Lord Megatron's visions of what our future should be. Not all Decepticons yearn to fight this war all the way to eternity.

Blaster: *raises one optic ridge in consideration* Huh. You honestly coulda fooled me, man. The majority of you 'Cons all seem to enjoy jumpin' into the fray waaay too much. *raises his index finger, pointing it at Soundwave's masked face, voice entirely serious* The Autobots are not weak. It's takes more strength and ingenuity to accept one's destiny and work with it, than it does to fight it. Like you said, that just wastes valuable resources. What ever happened to working with what ya got? Why does anything have to be taken from anybody else? Like I said before: loyalty begets loyalty. If you're constantly threatning and beating the scrap outta your cronies, then they're gonna turn on you. No one likes to be told what to do, plain and simple. We, the Autobots, just want to live our lives in peace the way we want to. Not every mech is interested in ruling the universe. *puts hands on hips* So, if you feel that way, then why do you still fight? Why you loyal to a would-be tyrant?

Soundwave: Because I am programmed to do so, and because I was with Lord Megatron from the start. *ponders* Maybe, to you, I seem to be blinded to his faults from such long acquaintance, but I will stand with him until the very end because that is the 'loyal' thing to do. Do Autobots not prize loyalty above all else? I would hesitantly agree that not all Autobots are weak. Optimus Prime, as an example, would be a good point. Although I dislike him heavily personally, professionally, it is impossible not to respect someone with ethics like his. *almost a smile crosses his mouth and voice becomes gentler* I know that you would think me hypocritical for talking about ethics when I wear my Decepticon ensigna with pride, but despite it all, Decepticons aren't all mindless, cruel mechs like some Autobots make us out to be. In the same way, you cannot say with a clear conscience that all Autobots in your ranks are as programmed towards goodness as the Autobot leader is. Indeed, loyalty given is loyalty received and thus, I shall continue to serve as I have for most of my life.

Blaster: I can respect that. *grins in spite of himself* A mech could do a lot worse than trying to emulate Prime. He's one in a million. *the respect and admiration he held for his esteemed leader evident in his voice* I suppose on one hand you COULD be considered a hypocrit, but I can't argue with you about anything cuz you're just doing what I'm doing: putting your effort behind what you think is the best way to go. I can't agree with this, *touches the Decepticon insignia emblazoned on Soundwave's chest with a fingertip* but I can definitely respect your dedication. *laughs lightly before continuing, voice a little rueful* I'll be the first to agree with ya that we got a few bad apples in the ranks, but much like you guys if they do their jobs and do them well, we can't really say or do much about what kinda mech they are. *is actually quite impressed with the Decepticon's solemn loyalty*

Soundwave: Indeed, despite the fact that the Autobot leader seems to be overly... *leaves the sentence alone so as to not insult the other mech*. *leans forward the slightest bit*

Soundwave: There is not so much difference between the two of us is there? Between the rest of our different crews and our oath of loyalty to our respective leaders. The only real thing that differentiates is who we swore the oath to, is it not?

The continuation... Where Soundwave and Blaster continue their not-so-little chat. It gets a bit deep.

Actually... Soundwave has no idea what he's in for.

Blaster: You asked what I wanted. I want to see what you look like. You got a lot going on here, mech. *flicks a finger lightly against one shoulder* You got my attention, now I wanna find out how you tick.

Soundwave: Your attention would best be placed elsewhere Autobot. No one knows how I 'tick'.

Blaster: *smirks* Too bad for you then, that I'm used to getting my way, huh? I like to figure things out and now you've just given me a big old mystery to unravel. *leans into 'Waves face, wearing that smirk*

Soundwave: *stands his ground, refusing to give in to an Autobot* Indeed. What can you do?

Blaster: Whatever I want to, that's what I can do. *reaches up and trails fingertips along the bottom edge of the mask* I bet it's mindnumbing hanging out with all those 'Cons, isn't it? Especially hearing their crazy thoughts.

Soundwave: *turns head to one side* I block out anything I don't want to hear. Anything you want to? Untrue.

Blaster: Untrue? How so? *is curious now, letting his fingers trail down the now exposed neck hydraulics*

Soundwave: *shudders before he can supress it* You cannot do anything you want to. We live to serve our superior officers.

Blaster: Maybe you do. I happen to take a bit more of a shine to that whole Free Will deal. I serve because I want to. Not because I have to. It's the right thing to do. *shrugs and lets the fingertips slide slowly away*

Soundwave: *shakes slightly for a moment* I live to serve Lord Megatron... Can you say the same? Are you as devoted to your cause as I am?

Blaster: I'm completely devoted to my cause man. It's what drives my spark. Just, my cause ain't following one leader to the death. I'm fighting for something completely different. *notes all of the physical reactions*

Soundwave: *voice processors sound a bit off* Such as 'freedom for all sentient beings'? There is no such thing.

Blaster: Yeah there is. You serve because you want to, or because you were forced to? Even the choice to do nothing is still a choice.

Soundwave: I chose my side from the start. I will stand by Lord Megatron until the end.

Blaster: So then how aren't you free?

Soundwave: Rules. I have rules, unlike you.

Blaster: *laugh* You think I'm just some unruly mech? You signed up for your cause man, you gotta deal with the extras that come with. You always gotta read the fine print, man.

Soundwave: You seem like it. It is... illogical, the way you behave and act. Especially with your enemy.

Blaster: You win more flies with honey than vinegar, man. *grins* Doesn't mean I don't follow orders when I need to, or that I don't have my own ethics. I'm just not as rigid as you are. *makes boxy gestures around Soundwave's chest with his hands*

Soundwave: Making fun of my shape is amusing to you? Your words do not compute properly.

Blaster: *grin* Yeah, it is. In other words mech: I think for myself. I'm not beholden to anyone else other than by my own choice. If I really wanted to, I could walk away from all of this right now. But I don't want to, so I won't. No matter what happens. Is that clearer? *slightly exasperated grin*

Soundwave: Affirmative. ... ... ... Why do you still stay around?

Blaster: Because I've come too far to back out now. *shrugs* I'm not a quitter, and this ain't finished yet. Why do you?

Soundwave: Too far? Explanation? ... I do not know. It is... logical I suppose.

Blaster: *sighs* YOu really need everything spelled out for you, don't you? I mean that I've been doing this whole war deal for too long now to just quit. *gestures emphatically* I signed up to see this thing through, and come Hell or high water, I'll see it through. Whether that means the end of the war...or the end of me. *looks a big grim for a moment before shaking it off* I'm not an entirely logic based mech, 'Wave. I use my spark too.

Soundwave: ... I see. ... It has been much too long, but like you, I have to see this out till the very end. I started beside Lord Megatron, and I will finish beside him. *pauses* As for your other point, there is no logic in you.

Blaster: *gives that bright laugh again* You wouldn't be the first to say that man. And probably not the last either! *chuckles to self, still wearing that broad smile* So, what I don't get, is why the 'Cons man? Why'd you side with them?

Soundwave: I was created to stand by Lord Megatron's side. There is no other purpose for my existance.

Blaster: So then, you don't even have like a hobby? It's just Megatron 24/7?

Soundwave: My Cassetticons... *pauses*

Blaster: *puts a hand to his own chest with a little smile* They certainly defend you fast enough, so there's gotta be something under than chest plate, hmm? *puts the hand on Soundwave's chest with a little Cheshire cat grin*

Soundwave: *jerks backwards before he can help himself* They are my creations.

Blaster: I think you can't decide whether you like to be touched or not. *snerks a little bit* Doesn't mean they HAVE to be loyal to you. They could turn on you quick as any other 'Con, but they don't. I've seen 'em fight for ya. So tell me, just how much of a fool you think I am? That you can pull the stone face act with me for forever and a day and get away with it?

Soundwave: Physical contact is... *pauses then changes subject* They are loyal to me because, in turn, I am loyal to them. You are not the slightest bit foolish, since I doubt that Optimus Prime would let a foolish Autobot climb so high. *pauses again* My 'stone face' is not an act. It is a part of my programming.

Blaster: Loyalty begets loyalty. There's a Chinese proverb that goes: Loyal fathers have pious sons. You get what you give, that whole bit. That's my point about you. You got some heavy layering going on, and the heavier the challenge the more I like it! *laughs and leans back into Soundwaves face* Okay, so stoic is you. I'm talking about being the walking hollow tin can. You can't be so empty and stoney and still inspire loyalty like that. So there's gotta be, by logical deduction, more to you than the facade you present. And physical contact is what...Soundwave? *not touching, but leaning close enough to feel the heat radiating off the other mech*

Soundwave: Physical contact is physical contact. *stares back through his vizor, not giving in* As for layers... *something akin to a smile appears* That's for me to know. I never said I was empty or hollow... Merely that I was programmed like I am. *doesn't give the other mech the satisfaction of seeing a single bolt move*

Blaster: *grins back in response, chuckling lowly* See...you go and do things like that and intrigue me all over again. Curiosity killed the cat and I know you'll frag me without the slightest hesitation. But damn if I can't stop poking at you. *Fingers twitching, itching to take off the visor* You can handle close proximity...but I do things like this...*slides fingers up either side of Soundwave's chest, and across the door seam on the front* And you get all wiggy on me. *watches the other mech intently*

Soundwave: *a low rumble sounds and shivers before stopping himself* Stop that. I am me. There is nothing interesting about me. *resisting the urge to wriggle and voice processor sounds more forced* If there's... one... thing that you're right about... it's that... I will blow you from here... *voice processors stop*

Blaster: *waves hand in front of face* Hello?

Soundwave: ... What is it that you require?

Blaster: O_O It speaks!

Soundwave: ... I shall not answer that.

Blaster: But you only just started speaking again after all these years! You can't let that golden voice fall silent again!

Soundwave: Are you malfunctioning?

Blaster: No way! I'm at optimal functionality. *mimicks Soundwave's monotone*

Soundwave: You are making fun of me.

Blaster: I am doing no such thing.

Soundwave: Do not lie. I can sense them.

Blaster: So it's true, you really are a telepath?

Soundwave: What kind of communications officer are you?

Blaster: No? Not at all? *switches to "Closer" by NIN, thinking really hard, grinning all the while*

Soundwave: Affirmative. *ignores the tunes that Blaster tries to shove inside his processor*

Blaster: Your creator didn't give you a humor sub-routine, did he? *advances on Wave a couple of steps, still grinning and thinking really hard of "Shut UP and Sleep With Me" by E-Rotic*

Soundwave: Fortunately. *turns to glare at Blaster* Stop that irritating Earth music.

Blaster: Hey, a little humor never killed a mech. Looks like it would do you some good. *makes a dusting motion over one of Sounds' shoulders*

Soundwave: OO *moves back a couple of steps* Humor: Not required. Intelligence: Essential.

Blaster: *smirks a little bit more, turning up the volume on his thoughts, and closing the space between them again* Intelligence is definitely recquired. Humor makes it tolerable. Can't be a stuffy know-it-all or you end up like Prowl.

Soundwave: *starts moving backwards again slowly and tries to block out the irritating music* Humor: Unthinkable. Tactician: Worth enemy. Your intelligence: Arguable.

Blaster: *still grinning, still advancing on the tall blue mech* I could give you a few lessons, help you loosen up those coils a bit, huh? Get your springs unbunched for a while? Yeah, Prowl's a good mech. A little too dry for my tastes, but to each his own, right? And you think that only cuz you don't know me yet, mech. I'm keeping you off balance now, aren't I? *still thinking that same song at Soundwave*

Blaster: You gonna make me? Or are you gonna hightail it outta here like a punk sparkling? *smirks and thinks of "Erotica" by Madonna*

Soundwave: ... Stop it with the human music! I will blast you from here back to Cybertron if you don't cease.

Blaster: *laughs merrily, like he isn't being threatned* What? You don't dig the tunes? It's good stuff! I could play some good old Cybertronian club tunes if you'd prefer~

Soundwave: ... *denies* Autobots hate Decepticons. And Decepticons hate... *wriggles* Stop it!

Blaster: What do Decepticons hate, 'Wave? huh? *grin* By golly, I think he likes it! *uses both hands to push lightly on the buttons*

Soundwave: *fizzle* Stop that Autobot! Else I'll... *wriggles more* Slaggit, getoffme!

Blaster: Haha! He's not monotone! I knew you were trying to fake me out mech! I think you're just in denial here, 'Wave. You have yet to really fight me off, and I know you're tougher than this. Old Megs' right hand bot and all that. *fingers sliding over buttons and up around the door seam all the while*

Soundwave: *shudders before clearing voice processor* I'm warning you Autobot. *moves out of range* Stay away from me.

Blaster: *lets him go for a moment, giving him a considering and uppity little smirk* Why?

Soundwave: If you do not, I'll blast you from here back to your base. *points his canon* I do not like you. At all.

Blaster: *sighs a bit heavily* It's gonna get back to that again, isn't it? And we were having such a nice conversation too. I could always just think at you again. I got a whole drive full of random nasties I found on the 'net.

Soundwave: *powers down the canon and shields his mind tightly* What do you want Autobot?

Blaster: *shrugs noncommitally* Feeling out the competition? Getting the lowdown on the enemy? Trying to get some entertainment into my life? I'll tell ya, it's slagging boring hanging out in the base all day monitoring the comms. *actually looks a little put out* But you on the other hand, are something new and interesting who responds well to being poked. *hand darts out to slide along the side of the blue mech's chest*

Soundwave: ... You are being literal about the 'feeling'. *stands still* Soundwave entertainment value: Low. But compared to monitoring... *processors whirl*

Blaster: You actually trying to calculate how much I'm enjoying picking on you? *grin*

Soundwave: ... Perhaps. What else is there to calculate?

Blaster: *shrugs* Who knows? You could be thinking about the reproduction rate of petro rabbits for all I know. I can't read minds. If you weren't trying to dissuade me by telling me how "boring" you are, I'll probably be seeing what else makes you quiver like that.

Soundwave: .... I do not use my processors on something as trivial as petro rabbits. *moves back again* Stop talking like that...

Blaster: Why should I? Does it make your gears click? *advances on 'Wave again*

Soundwave: *continues moving back extremely wary* Does it make yours? *talks before he can use his processors*

Blaster: *grins at the comment* Would you like it more if I said "yes"?

Blaster: You know, you're pretty obvious when you lie. *takes a big step forward, completely closing the distance between them*

Soundwave: Lies: Not applicable. I never lie. *eyes the Autobot and thinks about moving backwards* I'll ask you one more time before I get it out of your processors, what do you want?

Blaster: *eyes the mech before him consideringly* Right now, to take that mask off your face. That visor too.

Soundwave: OO... Removal of mask and vizor: Unacceptable. No one has ever... No one will.

Cade: * howls in pain, moving away from the other, his thought processes rcycling rapidly, telling him that iof he continues, its not looking good,

Cade: * howls in pain* STOP IT! STOP IT! I... I understand. * the last word is said very, very quietly

Soundwave: *stops shooting* You have learnt your lesson...?

Soundwave: *searches through Cade's mind for a brief moment*

Cade: *wwhimpers in terror at having his mind serched though, yeilding to the others superiot stauts and power in an instant.

Cade: *gasping chock as thje full extent of the pain hits him, and he does litterally end up on his hands and knees, ione hand clutching at his helm. *

Soundwave: Vortex is not loyal to Lord Megatron's cause. Thus, he is a danger. Danger should be eliminated

Ravage: I can take him.

Rumble: *agrrement*

Cade: I could as well, however... i have taskes to carry out.

Ravage: *hisses* Weakling

Soundwave: We do not have the time or resources to bring both Starscream and Vortex down. Not to mention Skyfire would most likely join them.

Cade: *bristles at Ravage* what was that? I am no weaking, you over sized target pratice! * snarls, sounds of his Gyros coming out* When i find you, i will rip you to Shreads!

Ravage: Weakling. If you weren't weak, you'd be able to get me now.

Barricade: oh I WILL! *snarliong hatred down the commlink

Ravage: So? Coming to get me? *purrs loudly*

Barricade: *sound of his engine drawing nearer*

Cade: * appears and flicks his gyros at the panther-mech

Ravage: *jumps out of the way of the blades and onto Barricade* Hey... Not so bad

Cade: * claws dart up to catch the panther, diggin in cruely*

Cade: *snarls, then flings the cat off him, flicking his gros out not a secons latter, aiming to do serious harm now

Soundwave: Enough. Ravage, fall back.

Soundwave: Barricade... You should know better than to pick a fight.

Cade: *snarls at Soundwave, and then flicks his gyros out at the other mech.

Soundwave: *digs into Cade's CPU* <Can you not learn?>

Cade: *Screams in rage*GET OUT OF MINE MIND, YOU SLAGSUCKING FRAGGER!

Soundwave: *takes control of Cade's CPU and shoves Cade's consciousness into a virtualscape*

Cade: *hauls in a rage, then snarls* i told you to get out, and i will make you!

Howls*

Soundwave: *calmly charges up his canon* Look around Barricade. You are out.

Cade: ... This is NOT my mind mind. what did you DO> * anger*

Soundwave: Virtualscape. Somewhere that's nowhere.

Cade: meaning what? * twirls his gyros, even pulling out of his gattling guns as well, proving that he is deadly serious about takening on Soundwave

Soundwave: *blasts Barricade twice* Which means it's your mind taking the damage.

Cade: *Snarls, refuising to the let the the fear rise. he would not give in. * *fires off his own gun, aiming for the weak piants, his visson fliping between modes

Soundwave: *dodges easily before shooting again*

Cade: * snarles and ducks the shoots bearly, but exposing his weakest points breifyly as he starts to get moving

Soundwave: *takes advantage of the weak points and aims his shots there*

Cade: * goes down heavily with a whine of pain, his optics flashing in alram. but he pulls out his gattlings guns and starts to fire

Soundwave: *materialises his concussion blaster and fires it directly*

Cade: * braces as best he can for the pain, but still ends up letting out a screech

Soundwave: *shoots again*

Cade: *Screams again as the shot hits one his unproected areas

Soundwave: Do you understand now Barricade?

Cade: *glares up in hatred of the telepath, defiance in his optics still

Soundwave: *shoots again, right into the joints*

Cade: *Screehes and curls awayhis mind starting to rejester that it was overloading with pain

Cade: never.

Soundwave: *calmly continues to shoot* Until you do.
